Y natural makes outstanding cleansing masks with an array of benefits, each made with sun-dried Australian clays, exotic floral and herbal extracts and the finest essential oils. These ingredients are absolutely pure – there’s not even one single petrochemical or synthetic chemical, not one single chemical to detract from the gorgeousness of using such exceptional, effective products.
301 GENTLE Clay Mask to rejuvenate, soothe and heal.
Recommended for dry, mature, dehydrated or sensitive skin profiles, once or twice per month.
Bulgarian Rose is the much prized anti-age oil, and with Chamomile they together bring beautifully soothing qualities to this mask. Hibiscus flower extract (Anthocyanidins) is antioxidant and contains high levels of Vitamin C, which is an essential component of pro-collagen synthesis. Gotu Kola extract is used for its regenerative properties, to accelerate the healing of wounds and to prevent scarring. It contains asiatic acid, asiaticoside and madecassic acid, all of which are said to stimulate collagen synthesis, a key element in skin repair. Similarly, Frankincense – which we posted about recently – is brilliant for rejuvenation and healing (cicatrisant) benefits. Sandalwood adds to the skin-calming effects, healing benefits and of course brings its much-loved aroma.
Overall, a gorgeous, cleansing and rejuvenating treat for the skin and senses.
302 DEEP Clay Mask to clarify skin, unclog pores, stimulate circulation and help remove deep impurities from the skin.
Recommended for oily or combination skin profiles, or skin prone to breakouts, generally twice each month, or at most three times in a month.
We have brought together a spectacular array of plant extracts and essential oils to help stimulate circulation and bring astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties: Nettle Herbal extract, St. John’s Wort extract, Cedarwood Atlas, Rosalina and Lemon Myrtle. Horsetail extract is particularly fascinating. It’s well known for its mineral content, specifically silica, which is concentrated in the shoots of the plant. This silica is highly absorbable and utilised to promote collagen formation.
Overall, this is a wonderfully enjoyable way to “deep-clean” skin without stripping away all the natural oils and without upsetting the skin’s natural pH balance.
300 REVIVE Clay Mask to reinvigorate and revive tired winter skin. We make this mask only a couple of times each year, so if this is the one that appeals to you, you need to get in quick!
Recommended for any skin type. Once every three weeks or so – a little longer if your skin tends to be quite dry, a little more often if your skin is very oily and/or prone to breaking out.
Spirulina (an extract from blue-green algae) is packed with beneficial nutrients for tired winter skin. Spirulina has antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties which make it a perfect natural remedy to accelerate the healing of wounds by inhibiting the growth of bacteria, yeast and fungus. Kakadu Plum is an Australian native plant with the highest concentration of antioxidants to help protect cells and slow the ageing process. It contains several beautifully fragrant essential oils including one of my personal favourites, Petitgrain. Petitgrain is gently antibacterial and antiseptic. Pine Scotch Oil has antimicrobial, antiseptic, antifungal benefits. Cedar Atlas has a veritable wish-list of skin benefits for problem skin. In a very gentle way, it is astringent, antiseptic, antifungal, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and helps to relieve excess sebum production and to heal. Lemon Myrtle is rich in antioxidants, calcium, zinc and magnesium and is known for its antiseptic and anti-viral properties. Together, these oils are helpful for people suffering from skin issues such as eczema and acne.
