Oh, this was lovely… We started with the all-over Rose and Patchouli Body Scrub. The dry ingredients are a mix of Pink Murray River Salt and Himalayan Pink Salt, milled fine to ensure they are not too abrasive, plus a small amount of Pastel Pink Australian Clay. To this we have added fragrant Geranium, Bergamot and Mandarin Essential Oils. So utterly divine!

The oil for the Body Scrub is separate, in a tottle (a cross between a tube and a bottle) to avoid leakage. To our mix of Macadamia, Safflower, Jojoba and Rosehip oil, we have added decadent Bulgarian Rose Otto, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Rosemary and the tiniest touch of Ylang Ylang.

We used half of the dome container of the dry ingredients, combined with a spoon of the oil from the tottle and a spoon of organic coconut from the pantry. In a separate dish was a mix of organic avocado oil and macadamia oil for helping to keep hands slippery because it’s really important to use a soft touch when applying the scrub, to gently buff the skin. Don’t sand-paper skin! It’s not beneficial to work the skin too hard. Don’t use olive oil, by the way. It’s too heavy. Better to use finer oils that are better able to absorb into skin and provide nourishment.

Don’t forget to include your feet! Mine looked and felt sooooo much better after a nice gentle scrub. Okay, so I had the benefit of our resident podiatrist (every home should have one!) giving them his attention, but this really made such a difference, everyone should do it!

After a quick shower to rinse off the scrub, I mixed the Peppermint and Lavender Foot Bath (pictured) with two litres of warm water and let my feet soak while I wrote this post. I kept a jug of boiling water handy so I could top up from time to time. The warmth helped the oils and salts to further soften and condition my feet. After drying off my feet, I applied the nail tonic to my toenails and finger nails.

After my feet had a wonderful soak, I applied some rich Limited Edition Argan Oil Nail Tonic on my toenails and fingernails. This contains (in order) Argan Oil, Jojoba, Macadamia Oil and Sunflower Oil – all Certified Organic, of course) plus drops of Lavender, Frankincense, Myrrh and Natural Vitamin E. This step, for me, was the epitome of decadence. So simple and easy to do, yet I can’t remember the last time I did it. Oh and I am still loving the mint from the footbath wafting through the air… Mmm.

The Argan and Mandarin Heel Balm was divine – I massaged it well into the whole of my feet and hands, and was chuffed to catch the scent of Mandarin, one of my favourites… I’ll reapply this before I go to bed tonight. For now though, the final step is Refreshing Foot Spritz that features the benefits of Rosalina, Eucalyptus and Pine, lifted by the freshness of Lemon Myrtle and Peppermint.

To finish, just an additional spray of 400 GRACE to my face, a couple of drops of 601 NOURISH and I’m officially done for today. My divine At-Home Organic Day Spa Extravaganza is now over. I have silky hair and smooth, soft skin from head to toe and it’s the…

Best. Feeling. Ever.
